Does the first batch LS400 1UZ retrofit? (Note: For twin turbo reasons)

Just because something was on TG once doesn't mean TG came up with it. The Hilux that went to the North Pole was built by Arctic Trucks, not TG. Anything that looks like that truck is replicating a Arctic Trucks Hilux, not a "Top Gear" Hilux.

Either way, it's not a real bro's truck. 4 cylinder Diesel?

The description in the eBay listing explains that this truck was indeed customized by Arctic Trucks. They built it to the same standards as the truck used in Top Gear. I didn't mean to imply that Top Gear themselves built the truck.

It has all the bro truck potential the Tacoma has (a lot). And as far as you're insinuating abut trucks, it doesn't hold a candle to the working potential of full size American trucks, including the new 4 cylinder diesel Ram.

I'dunno. I mean, I've been in a Hiace with the D4D engine and thought THAT worked, but the D4D in a truck?

I wish they would bring this truck to the US. Or ANY diesel Toyota....

I quick browse through the Toyota Global website is pretty neat. They actually have a couple pretty cool cars that we don't get in the U.S. like the Hilux and this really neat old school Land Cruiser:

Believe it or not, these are actually "new" cars.
